The library was a grassroots effort that is continuing to be fed by people and organizations. I want to express my gratitude for the people that make the library wonderful. Nichole DaLuz my one staff member, helps me and you in so many ways! My Board of Directors is a dedicated group that helps the library run smoothly, Renee Wade, Shannon Cueva, Mia Narell, Ginger Wilson, Chauncey Quam! The teachers that do all the programs, including barbara jones Mindi Morton, Caroline Fowler, Ginger Wilson, Jake Dabis, Blaine mikola, starlight compost, Rosemary Moseberry, Deb Edmondson and Yakshi. We appreciate barbara jones's efforts to create our annual events, including just a few here: kite day, movie nights, dog parade, and our summer program. We sure do love our volunteers! We will miss Mary Singletary! We are grateful for Bobsi & Daniel and our two interns: Ro & Mary! We have partnerships all across the board, including the Community, Foundation of Nevada County, Dignity Health, Community Beyond Violence , and our newest : Malakoff state park. The library is a working organization and would not be possible without all of these boots on the ground. If you read this far, you are a supporter of the library and we appreciate you as well! We are here for you: your tech needs, your navigation of systems, printing, Wi-Fi, and of course your books and socialization. If you haven't come by please feel free. We are open five days a week for you, our lovely community. ... See MoreSee Less
