Our Mission

The mission of the San Juan Ridge Community Library is to provide an inspirational and educational hub while giving the residents, including students, of the San Juan Ridge excellent library services including book exchange, DVD rentals,   and internet access in a central location.

SO MUCH Dog Fun! We welcomed the puppies, howled for dogs we lost in the last year, AND we “Paraded.” The entire family of Tiger Kings and wild animal trainers were outstanding, The Thugs rescue dogs from the Ridge a real hoot. We had a DogAsaurus, Skeletons, Fairies, Bad Dogs, Thing One and Two, Butterfly, Unicorn….so many dog characters. Hank, our park neighbor dog, came by bringing his owner! My favorites were Murphy’s stuffed dog unicorn and Reishi’s “Invisible Dog” (obviously photos were impossible.) Our Board of Supervisors, Sue Heok showed up to judge in a crazy Unicorn costume. She and Desmond Gallagher (Friends of the Library board) and Lionel (Dorris Feed) had a hard time picking a winner. Thanks to Gold Country Cusinie for selling hotdogs following the parade vibe.
