Our last week of summer camp is wrapped up. This last week had kids 8-14 y/o and A LOT of heat. It was crazy HOT but those kids still put on the heat while playing soccer, capture the flag and other yard games with Chris. Athletes showed their skill and leaders emerged. They created camp tie dye shirts with Rosemary that were outstanding. Cooking with Hannah was a great opportunity for the kids to learn and prepare their afternoon snacks. Laughter helped the kids create ocarina flutes. This is a challenging activity that requires patience and dexterity. The kids painted with baking soda, turmeric and hand sanitizer ---it was MAGIC. They also had Stomp Rockets flying around the Park- impressing all the kids with what you can create with recycled materials. Your kids were SO loved and cared for by our staff and volunteers., and new friendships were formed....if you hear INCREDIBLE stories about Ro---believe them. She IS amazing and so beloved among the kids. I can't say enough great stuff about her. Erin can run the sports field like a kid and had them all on the run- she is so steady and reliable.

We are SO grateful that you trusted your wonderful kids with us this summer and look forward to seeing them at the library and our activities. Much love----Babs and Roo
