Wednesday June 16, 2021 the library will begin hosting their weekly ,FREE, "Kids Can" summer program at Oak Tree Park.
10-11 am 3-7 year olds will participate in yard games, building community around THEIR peers
11-11:30 am will be snack time for Kids participating in both programs
11:30 am -12:30 pm 7-13 year old kids will have a chance to do experiments and explosions (of the simplest kind)
Kids CAN will help your child build community and confidence.

3rd times a charm? Saturday June 12, 2021 from 9-10 pm the library will set up it's telescope at Oak Tree Park to do some star gazing. We can learn to use start charts and star gazing apps to go along with learning the telescope. Wear warm clothes, bring a flashlight, your binoculars, telescopes, charts.... ... See MoreSee Less

Saturday, June 12, 2021 from 9-10 pm, the library will ATTEMPT another stargazing night. There will be new moon so the sky will be dark and the constellations visible.
However, on trend with our other attempts to gaze at celestial bodies, Saturday is threatening to be cloudy -keep an eye on the sky and we'll keep you posted if we cancel.
